Why didn't the Terminator just rip the door off the hinges when it was in the lobby?

Ramming the car through the lobby created more of an obstacle course for it.

One of my favorite movies.   I wish they had stopped after the second one though, much like Alien.

he didn't have his weapons with him, they were in the car, because walking into the lobby with a rifle and a SPAS-12 would be too obvious.

So he rammed the car into the lobby instead.

Do you even subtlety, bro?

Being relatively unaffected by small arms fire, he could have ripped the door off the hinges, then RKO'ed the cop in the lobby and taken that cop's revolver. He then could have steadily upgraded as he moved through the station.

I think the Terminator used poor tactics and wasn't that efficient.

The Terminator was definitely  cool, but I am more intrigued by the Predator...
I like the thing on his shoulder that goes up, his cool watchy thing on his fore-arm, view from his helmet cam and other cool weapons he is outfitted with.

Are you kidding?  He killed 17 police officers that night.  Men with families...children.

The Terminator was definitely a Democrat. He had no soul, no conscience, was hard to stop and could not be reasoned with.

It would be an interesting movie if the Alien, Predator, and Terminator were all on earth to help mankind defeat some foe.

Nah ... The scariest movie I ever saw was an old Black and White movie that had some horrible looking Monsters armed with spears that come out of the fog.  I think it had Peter Graves (original Mission Impossible guy) in it.

Damn movie gave me nightmares for months. (but then again I was about 7)

I remember going to the theater back in 1984 when it came out and being amazed he got up every-time and just kept coming and coming.

Unstopable.........well until he was crushed and even then the technology from his arm and cpu brought forth skynet sooner.
