So it's now being officially reported Jordan Addison has entered the portal. I don't blame the kids for getting the money when it's offered, but I hate seeing this. They've created free agency with no salary cap, plain and simple.

Change is the name of the game in college football these days, with new rules for the transfer portal system and players making money off their name and image. Those changes have led many among the decision makers in the sport to start openly questioning whether or not college football needs the NCAA at all. Now that group includes Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith, who may have a new idea on how college football can govern itself in the future. College football must "create our own rules" Smith — who said he was "just throwing ideas out" there — proposed that the 10 existing FBS conferences move away from the NCAA and move under the authority of the College Football Playoff directly. "We [can] create our own rules, create our own governance structure, have our own enforcement, we have our own requirements, whatever that might be," Smith said to ESPN. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaafb/ohio-state-ad-suggests-college-football-should-declare-independence/ar-AAWUVeT?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=3c9f3a997c2d4156a399b9e7217526ca |

When the SEC goes to 16 teams, I am starting to like the "3-6-6" format better than "Pods"
In what we call the “3-6-6” format, there would be no divisions, no pods, no subgroups of any kind within the conference. What you’d have instead is each team having three permanent “rivalry” games each year, and six rotating opponents (six in even years and the other six in odd years). That means you’d play nine conference games (up from the SEC’s current eight), but you’d also -Maintain your team’s most important rivalry games -Face EVERY conference team in a 24-month span -Have EVERY conference team come to your home stadium in the span of four years View Quote https://www.goodbullhunting.com/2022/5/13/23071167/what-a-podless-sec-football-schedule-could-look-like-3-6-6-permanent-opponents-texas-oklahoma |

In one page 2. Which is weird.
I thought I was in on page 1… oh well, still less disappointing than watching Steve Tardkisian lose to a 3rd (4th?) string QB and walk on TE while he claims he doesn’t have the athletes to compete with Kansas (in football ). |

I would be fine changing SC-Florida to OU-Florida, but I will say I don't know the history of that game other than Spurrier. |

You can buy Hard Times and Robertsons (Loves brand) at Loves, Buc-ees is obvious tho and I do visit some down in the Houston area when I'm traveling through. Buc-ees is the least expensive of my list as the drier style saddle jerky is quite a bit higher than the wet jerky (buc-ees, jack links, etc) |
