I heard that Schwarzenegger pretended like he was interested in that one to get Stallone to agree to do it.

Cop land was his best.

At that point in his career his was pretty much on the down slope, some would say a bit washed up.  So he channeled that into playing a washed up small town sheriff in a small town.  That and he wasn't on the cast as the star carrying the movie...it was a great cast...DeNiro, Keitel, Liotta, Robert Patrick, Edie Falco, etc.

It was a good movie not because Stallone was in it, it was a good movie because of he didn't stick out like a sore thumb among other great actors.

I didn’t know he had one.
I thought going to Canada to avoid the draft during Vietnam.

Seriously, he did a movie with James Woods, don’t remember the name. Some f the guys I work with at a telco company ran phone lines for their trailers where there were filming the (water)Damn scene. They were told they could come back with their kids and watch the filming. Sly wouldn’t come over and talk or sign autographs, Woods did, called Sly out on not doing it and was ignored. he rushed back to his trailer. The guys said Woods was cool as hell, real down to earth and joked around with the kids.

He is a better producer than he ever was an actor.

Sadly, I like all of his stuff. I won't pay for it anymore though. Same with most all of Hollywood.

First post nails it.  One of the best movies of all time.  My wife's favorite movie.  It gets better every time I watch it.

The running gunfight with suppressed Ruger Mk II pistols was fucking awesome!

But Rambo First Blood is the correct answer.

Is it "Over the Top"?

Because if its not "Over the Top", this thread is dildos.

Why didn't they make a sequel to Cobra?  Was it a box office bomb?

Also, who the fuck eats pizza like that?

Same reason why there was no sequel to Commando.  All of the extras were killed in Action.

This was the closest he got to seriously acting.

But he does make a great sidekick for jason statham in those expendable flicks.

I was part way through Rocky 3 before I realized I had seen the movie before.

Rocky gets his ass kicked, Rocky trains, Rocky prevails. Same fucking movie over and over.
Rambo was his best movie

It’s hard to pick between Rocky and Rambo. But I put my favorite in this order.

1- Rocky,

2- Rambo,

3- Tango and cash,

4- Judge Dredd,

5- Cobra ........

I binged watched these movies growing up.
