I was out of town all week, and came home to my Burger Iron. Looks like they took people's complaints into account on a redesign. It now has 2 screws per side in the handle. Gonna give it a whirl tomorrow night.

Probably to stop rotation when pressing. IMO it would be better just to use longer screws. The best method I have found is to place your finger on the flat part for smashing so your not putting a bunch of pressure on the handle anyway. This gives a nice more even smash. Also helped to put a piece of wax paper in between the iron and beef. |
