Do you let it rise or is it just sourdough starter in the batter? Looks interesting

It’s a start made with the discarded mother let to ferment over night then mixed into a batter the next day.

I have been playing with it and letting the batter sit for a couple days to see how it changes.

If you can, haul your ass up here tomorrow.

I’m running the big mec (aka: the moat decadent burger in LA (and therefore the earth)). A relatively unknown legend.

This is it’s little sis, the small mec, but you get the idea.

Garlic truffle aioli, two fresh ground chuck patties, two slices Hilldale American cheese, an insanely generous pour of bordelaise, a little more of that garlic truffle aioli.

It’s totally $16 and it’s totally worth it.

There is also more Cheeto burger , Cheeto tots, and sourdough pancakes.

Not far off from the actual presentation.

Really delicate. It’s a little on the rich side and almost overwhelming.

You should definitely nap after eating this and fries.

Wow, what a nutty past 48 hrs...

Power went out at 12:30 am Wednesday and was out till 3:30am this morning.

I had to rent a refer truck to put all the food in. Then opened up today normal time and launched a couple new menu items. We did weekend numbers today on a skeleton crew.

I’m beat.

Onion rings.

Rodeo cheeseburger.

Bbq Chicken sandwich.

And we officially launched the sourdough pancakes.

It better have horseradish!

The one thing noone makes right... fried pickels. Brewery in state college, PA used to slice them thin length wise, batter them, and serve them with a spices honey Dijon mustard. Best ever, haven't found comparable ones yet

Well, I’m not sure about that, but I can give you an exact recipe.

1 cup ranch, 1 cup bbq sauce(uses something simple), 1/4 cup prepared horseradish, 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper.

Multiply everything by 32 and it will fill a 5 gallon bucket. With a little mixing room.

Gotta respect the clock. It’s a real thing.

The timeframe was the blurriest time of my day, I don’t even remember anyone ordering pancakes around that time, let alone the people who were ordering.

I was in the middle of trying to take a dump, trying to get baguettes rolled out, taking the first delivery of the day, and get the last batch of wings done all on top of entering “lunch time”.
