Thanks to this thread I decided to jump back on and play a bit. The game has been flawless for me comparatively speaking. I like how when you die you get to keep your armor and weapons. Hate that you lose everything in your backpack but whatever. I’m still kicking myself, I had just enough money to get the Zeus and instead I bought the C1 Spirit. For some reason I thought the Zeus was twice as much. Now I’m trying to figure out the fastest way back to 5 mil again to get the Zeus. Been doing the BH bunkers at 56K a pop but that’s going to take a while |

There are a few ships I'd love to try out. 1X 34k going back up to Seraphim because nobody likes to deadhead. Takes about 10-15 minutes to load the downwell run, maybe 3-5 minutes to travel and land at Orison, another 10-15 minutes to offload and load the upwell run. Rinse and repeat. The only danger is in that last 24 klicks between where you drop out of quantum and the station itself. And, yes, you'll occasionally see murder hobos ganking freighters right up against Seraphim because they can get away with it. Around 375K per round trip. Worst case scenario, 6X 50k (actually, IIRC, 50,250) down, 34 up. Still well north of 300K per trip. Sure, you're spending more time playing stack the cargo than actually flying, but the money is good, steady, and requires no investment up front. If you don't have a Hull A, you can rent one on the cargo deck for 24 hours for 34K. In that time, you can earn enough to purchase your own, along with a few other toys. If you've got something bigger, like the Freelancer Max, you can often take a single medium upwell along with the small for an additional 40ishK, although the Hull is so much easier to load and unload, I gave up on the Max and just went back to the Hull. The Spirit won't quite hold that medium and small going up, and the difference in earning just isn't worth it in my opinion. I just got done grinding enough in 2 sessions to purchase a Cutty Red, 4 top line shield generators, and 4 attrition 3s to mount on the cutty. Took me around 7-8 hours of actual play, although there were some breaks to go loot hunting just because. That's what I mean about not wanting the Zeus after you figure this out. Cargo-wise, as you gain reputation, you end up just going farther, carrying more, into more dangerous places, for roughly the same, or less money. The fees paid for cargo hauling are jank as fuck. And commodity trading? I watched a youtube video where a guy was all proud of himself over this run he found in Pyro where he'd buy a million aUEC worth of cargo and sell it on an open pad in a PVP zone, and clear a 300K profit. I thought to myself, "what a knucklehead. Why risk your own cash and all your gear (this was before tier0 item recovery) for a 30% profit? Nobody would do that in real life. Particularly when you can risk literally nothing but a sperm suit and earn more. As an aside, Area 18 has a somewhat similar thing, but the downwell that'll fit on a Hull A is only 6X 50K. The 37K run that I was seeing up there on Baijini was 29 SCU of ice. You'd need a Spirit or better (and be good with that ship tractor beam) to haul it all. And there's nothing going back up that you'd fit in anything smaller than a Zeus or Connie. Better to deadhead back up. Or go to Orison and do it easy mode. ETA: Oh, and there have been videos making the rounds about being able to grind out 600K an hour without ever stepping foot in a ship. IF you can get onto the stations in Pyro. Just doing box delivery from place to place inside the stations. ![]() Easiest AUEC Ever | No Ship Required |

Hell, that's 110scu+ of contract cargo or 156scu of commodity cargo, as long as you don't mind locking yourself in the cockpit and using the tractor beam to load half the cargo. Run cargo contracts to get a Zeus, cargo contracts pay insanely well for the amount of work they are. I usually run a loop from either Cru-L5 or Mic-L2 and will run a full ship of 156scu of either gold or diamond (depending on where I started) to New Babbage. From there, I take two contracts I consistently get from NBIS to Tressler. Once I unload at Tressler, I pick 2-3 destinations back on Microtech, typically Greycat, Sakura, and NBIS with the greycat cargo on one grid, Sakura on the other, and NBIS down the aisle. I'll usually grab 2-3 contracts, load them (staging NBIS off to the side of the hangar), then grab more until I'm at or close to capacity or out of contracts to take. Up until now I've been swinging back by NBIS to grab the two contracts back up to Tressler I started with, and the whole thing usually nets around 500k aUEC per loop, with each loop taking 1-2 hours. Bonus points if you can grab a few contracts running from a destination back up to tressler on the way. Earlier, I was playing with a commodity calculator, and I think I'm going to start foregoing the last contracts up to tressler and instead will be grabbing cargo to run back to one of the Lagrange stations so I'm not deadheading on my way back. Eta: I might have to try TheOTHERmaninblack's loop, it seems like quicker money. Although I'll still be using my C1, I can't stand the small hangars

With the additional benefit that there's a 55k upwell medium that you can occasionally fit into it so long as you've got a key mapped for toggling doors open/closed. For some reason, CIG didn't think to add a button on the panel to open exterior doors (but DID add one to get out of the seat ) and that last, medium contract will require you to open both the back ramp and the next inboard door in order to use the mounted tractor beam to offload the off grid boxes. The new 4.1.1 Raft, now? When I do commodity cargo and can choose the box size, I regularly run 156scu and that's without loading into the airlock and cockpit. I could fit an additional 8-12scu up there pretty easily, but it can be a pain in the ass maneuvering the boxes, so I don't usually bother. Binding "open all doors" and "close all doors" keys was one of the first things I did when I started playing with off-grid cargo in the C1 Eta: I've also been enjoying the free fly. I'm only about two months into Star Citizen and haven't done any mining/salvage up until now. I guess after I get my C2, I'll have my eyes on a Vulture; I've really been enjoying panel salvage. |

| I bought 5 or 6 ships in the beginning. I have not played it yet. I got upset because I thought maybe 3-4 years for the game but its been what 10-11 years and I need to do other stuff as well. I do not know if I want to give Chris anymore money and I own all the WC games still have the WC1 and WC2 games on disk/cd. |

The first few weeks it was a broken, buggy, almost unplayable mess. Since they started all the bug fixes its a whole new game. Join a org and spread the love with your ships. I started out doing the mentioned cargo hauling missions for some start up money and it was ok but lost its fun pretty quick. I found mining to be very profitable and very relaxing if I just want to play solo. I even joined a bigger org for the new sandbox events and it is multiplayer gameplay like I have never experienced. Yes it still has some work to go but its only getting better. And if you don't want to spend real money you can always buy the ships in game. |

| I have to say, I finally tried TheOTHERmaninblack's Orison/Seraphim trade route and I'm a fan. 375,117aUEC in 50:59 in my C1 and only had to use the tractor beam and go off-grid for the trip up to the station, and that's because I took two contracts vs one. Not bad money at all. |

TBH the Virpils were not that bad to set up, putting them and the desk mounts together was more time consuming. I was going to go full custom binds but decided on for now to use someone else’s profile as it had everything I needed and I could always edit theirs. A lot of people post custom binds that they keep up to date between patches and I’m just going to do that until full release. |

Well, fuck me runnin'! Spent the last two days looting like SC was Skyrim. Amassed nearly 3 1/2 SCU of guns, armor, and other junk. half a dozen sniper rifles, 3 or 4 grenade launchers. I was good to go, mang! Then tonight, on my last run before going back home to Orison to put it all safely away, the trespass timer went haywire at the Greycat workcenter. I went from 'you got 15 minutes', to 'TRESPASSING!' I stored all of my goods in the warehouse and GTFOed with an empty ship. No problem, right? There are always small cargo runs to Greycat. I grabbed one, loaded the rest of my loot and headed out. Then, right after granting me hangar access, those fuckers shot me down and I ended up in Klesher. Left Klesher in a starter undersuit. No gear, no cargo, no hair. I was wearing a full Novikov when they shot me down and had a fucking rail rifle on my back. I hope CR gets a painful boil. |

Weapons and components have a higher likelihood of surviving the upgrade in the warehouse. Some of them will still likely vanish, but that's not as bad as leaving half a million or so in upgrades on the ships, given that CIG is wont to replace them with off the shelf models. Other things that will vanish: Food. Granted, most of us have stopped carrying food, since it doesn't work, and, in many cases, will actually make you hungrier if you eat it. But sell all those burgers and sandwiches you picked up off the floor, and all your green slurm that's actually the defacto restorative in the game (although I prefer the blue) Med supplies. Sell them all before the patch, at least you'll get something. Ammunition. Good luck, though. CIG nerfed the sell price on ammo because guys were doing bunker runs, taking only guns and ammo back with them, and still making money. CIG invoked the 'how dare you have fun' rule and cratered the price paid. Additionally, there are types of ammo that none of the stores (at least legal stores in Stanton) will buy from you. I'd say sell your ship weapons (Like the CF repeaters you took off to mount those Attritions that CIG is gonna steal), but I haven't found anybody willing to buy them. Doing that should mitigate your losses, although, 4.0.1 showed up several days earlier than they claimed it would, and they still got me for some of the ammo, given it's nonsensical to sell it as you go, given the price differential between buying and selling. Cheaper to just lose it once. tl;dr: Look for at least one, or, more likely, several money wipes between now and 1.0, and don't be amazed if they pull at least 1 more full wipe out of their asses at some point. Given past practices, the wipes are a couple of years apart, so there's probably quite a bit of time before it happens again. |

Were I not already in leadership of another org and if the goals of the 87th (lawful or not, primary activity focus, etc) were on the page and aligned with my play style, I'd consider pitching in. At the very least, let me know what the org is doiong or wants to do, and I can at least help sell the sizzle for you and maybe do an non-agression pact / alliance type announcement in social media for y'all and us. |

The idea is to look for "warbond" CCUs that build towards your target ship. They're cash-only, no store credit, and are discounted. Events like ILW, which starts tomorrow, are your best bet. Diffferent warbond CCUs will be offered every day until the event is over. If you are on Discord, look for CCU Game. They also have a browser extension that will link to your RSI Hangar and help you build chains based on what is available. They also have a forum for advice. My example: I had an STV, with a CCU to the A1. I bought the warbond STV and the warbond A1 CCU for cash, getting discounts on both. In total, I paid $170 for the A1, saving $30. I did a lot better on my Corsair with a much more extensive chain. I paid $185, and it's now worth $250 if I wanted to use it as part of a further chain. Some people play the long game with concept ships, because when they are released their value goes up. That is what happened with my Corsair. My CCU was to a cheaper price, I think $225, but the value of the ship jumped when it was released and out of concept. Initially I saved a bit less than that total of $65. But that doesn't matter to me unless I want to continue to a more expensive ship. Some people play that long game for the expensive ships, chaining concepts that when released save even more money. I'm not into all that, so I can't really advise. A couple more points: The Paladin is a concept ship, and is therefore not available in game at this time. If you melt a CCU, the base ship is what's available in your buybacks. Also, if your LTI Pulse was a referral reward, it is generally not meltable, unless customer service takes pity on you. I hope this helps. I'm sure someone else here is more knowledgeable. |
Rage is the response to the primary stimulus of thwarting, something interfering with our….behavior. Our actions.

How is everybody liking Invictus so far? Personally, I am disappoint. Nothing good on sale, haven't found a single one of those scrip things, only a fraction of the 'military' gear is available, and worst of all, the only food stands they've got are Coffee to Go, and none of those fuckers have coffee! What retard coded those bastards? |

Right? Literally everything they release is cash only for at least 3 to 6 months. |
