Any of you folks ever attended it as a spectator?
It's one of my bucket list things and I've been binge watching shows on motortrend,tubi and prime and really have the bug to go. Here is my dilemma ..being from the frozen tundra I don't handle extreme heat very well.  I'm wondering if there are as many classes represented during the world finals weekend as there would be during speed week? The world finals being in October it would be cooler and I wouldn't be a puddle of grease on the salt. |

I’ve been to Speed Week twice - friends race a diesel pickup. I don’t think the October meet has the same number of participants - SCTA-BNI.ORG - might be able to give you some total entry data. Hotel reservations for Speed Week are almost impossible - and stupid expensive if you do get them.
Drink lots of water. Take a rental car if you’re going to drive on the salt. |
