A private company  has launched a hundred rockets and landed a lot of them in the same time frame as the SLS has taken to have a failed engine.

Eh, it's not NASA so much as a completely clueless Congress. NASA was forced to build SLS so Congress would approve Commercial Crew.

The drone ships were named from a Ian Banks series of sci fi novels.  If there's a third one to be built, I expect the name will be "A Shortfall of Gravitas".

When the Shuttle was operational it seemed to me like it flew on pure money and magic.

One of the many things I like about Starship development is that so many people are spending so much time detailing all the aspects of its operation.

I'm looking forward to when someone gets around to printing the official manual on these things.
