I bought two group 31 batteries for my truck. There were $150ea. Duracell brand. But made by east penn. I found a small electronics store that sold them.

Deka / East Penn Manufacturing makes most of the brands here in the US.  Duracell being one of them.
Covid restrictions shut the plant down for a good bit and now reluctant employees not willing to go back to work still has them behind on orders.  Backlog is enormous now and most shelves are half stocked even if that.
