Attached File Stopped by my local liqour store today, and they had two bottles of Antique 107!!!!! Both spoken for of course. I pleaded but to avail. Got a text at 11PM telling me to look on my porch from my buddy. I guess the guy never showed up, and he picked it up for me, along with this calander and a quote from the best movie of all time. Free weller is best weller. ETA- favorite bourbon thus far in my short escapade in to bourbon. Scary good. |

Getting towards the bottom of one of my "cruise" Blantons.
It's been awhile since I've opened one, I've been trying to go through some of my bottom shelf opens. It's amazing how much better it tastes since last time, by comparison, I guess.

Picked this Illusions Crystal mouth blown decanter up for $19 at an estate sale Sunday. It was screaming for some brown liquid. Since my bourbon obsession is rooted in Buffalo Trace I think it shall have the place of honor.

Went out and found a place with a decent bourbon selection.
They had Handy and Stagg, among others. I may have splurged on a pour of the Handy..... Damn smooth neat. I've never had it, hopefully it was legit.

Costco in Hoover AL had a few cases left when I stopped by and I snagged another couple bottles. Watched a guy walk up with a full case and the lady pointed to the "limit 3" sign. Feast or famine here. Should be good for a bit, now. |
