That's on the "coming soon" list in Ohio, looking forward to it.

Ohio was waiting for Smoke Wagon... went from "coming soon" to "in stock" early last week. Over the following few days it went from "in stock" to "limited supply" really quick. Yesterday I grabbed the last bottle of UCUF my local place had. Must have been a small shipment, it's mostly gone by now.

Last night I finally opened my eht small batch to celebrate a new job and had a drink.  Goddamn the stuff is good, I finally see what the hype is about.  Delicious, with a rich mouthfeel and deep complexity of flavor.  Better than any of the other 10 bottles of whiskey I've tried over the year.(mostly mid shelf stuff like EC small batch, wild turkey 101, Buffalo Trace, mitchters, etc.

Dulce Vida - shit excuse for a tequila.  Only drinking it because I hate pouring stuff out.  Another couple of shots again tonight will help make the bottle go away.  Will have to kill this before I get something else worth drinking.  I don't mind decent tequila, but sometimes like stuff with agave nectar - like Adicticavo.

Second day of this shit - bottles only a bit more than 1/2 gone.  Drinking weekend starts tomorrow - I ain't drinking this shit tomorrow.

From the land of sky blue waters (waters),
From the land of pines, lofty balsams,
Comes the beer refreshing,
Hamm's, the beer refreshing.

Brewed where nature works her wonders,
Aged for many moons, gently mellowed,
Hamm's the beer refreshing,
Hamm's the beer refreshing.
Hamm's.

It’s about the only beer left that still tastes like beer did when I was in high school in the ‘70’s. Sometimes it’s nice to stroll down memory lane.

I've had some good bottles of Willett rye but the current one I have open tastes like lawn clippings, it's pretty bad. I'm going to let it sit for 6 months or so and see if it gets any better.
