At 2800 I'll just pay a little more for a SP5.
Part of the appeal of the MKE guns was a nice clone at a fraction of the price . The Zenith guns were 1600.00 |

12 years ago they couldn't give the ones away that had all Romanian parts. They got down to like $499 at one point. |

I find this kind of funny. I believe Zenith dumped MKE because they said the quality of their MP5s weren't living up to their reputation (this was when they were still around $2k). Zenith said they'd be working with another vendor or on their own to re-introduce high quality MP5 clones.
Now Century goes and scoops up that partnership with MKE and tries suckering people into a $2,800 MSRP like the quality went way up or something

I bought my SP5k for 1800.00 about 2.5 years ago. It came with 6 mags too. I was on a lunch break and saw it at one of my local fun shops. I asked the shop keep the price, expecting 3200.00 or whatever, and he said, "for you, 2000.00." Honestly, I knew that was even a smoking deal, but jokingly, I replied, "how about 1800.00?" To which he agreed. It still shocks me to this day.
You don't come across those deals very often, but when you do, it's an absolute must. |

so i looked up getting an mp5 as kinda a grail gun about 2 months ago. Gunbroker seemed to be the only place to get them and they were all selling for around 3k. So i bought two marcolmar cetme l rifles for just over 2800. That is two roller lock 5.56 rifles that take stanag magazines and have hammer forged nitrided barrels. I could see spending 1600 for an mp5 however its a weak round even with a longer barrel. Might be tits with suppressor however i dont have a suppressor in a pistol caliber. I am happy with the cetme l rifles so far but need trigger time. All i can really say is they didnt like wolf steal case, but brass was 100% and they are beautiful rifles.
There are better guns out there for less than $2800 |
