I made this today,  turned out great.

Had to order fish stock from Amazon,  lil town grocery didn't have it.

The only thing I would change is cut the recipe in 1/2, the recipe in url makes about a gallon.

Its actually pretty filling. Not a cheap meal but went well with the Ribeye I made.

Lol, ive got plenty, jus had a 2nd bowl few minutes ago, seems to get better with age.

No white wine vinegar.  

ETA.  I make a crab bisque quite frequently.  I use a couple cream cheese blocks and heavy whipping cream.  It was always good, but then I added the white wine vinegar.  It definitely makes more of a rich flavor.
