In another AR15.com Shockwave thread some guy posted a pic of his SBS'ed (and stocked) Shockwave with a suppressor on it. Gotta admit, it's got the wheels in my head turning.

Why not jut get a KSG, if you are going to make that Shockwave even longer with the addition of a brace? https://www-thefirearmblog-com.cdn.ampproject.org/i/s/www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/18161440_253783008423689_1007090494276108288_n.jpg View Quote |

The ksg is, well a kel tec. Besides a surprising number of kills on live leak they are not a reliable design. They are fun when they work, no doubt about it. They are short but they are bulky, unreliable, and prone to breakages. They aren't heavy but they certainly aren't light. |

The Mossberg is a proven firearm design, one that I've used overseas actually. The shockwave is short, handy, compact, and light. The ksg is, well a kel tec. My understanding is the RFB shares a similar issue. |

I am guessing people with braces on the Shockwave are using them to cheek weld? What's the recoil like doing something like that? Does it smack the fuck out of you? Or recoil back and nail your shoulder?
I want a Shockwave, but don't want any braces but am interested in what the experience of shooting one with a brace is like. |

Does anyone make a double-barrel 12 gauge pistol? I want a Mad Max gun.
