Wouldn't have voted for him anyway. He refused to object to the electors from states with extremely obvious fraud. He didn't throw Trump under the bus, he threw American voters under the bus. Good riddance. I will vote for my House member, Rep. Johnson, who objected to 2 of the fraudulent states, in his next election.

I’m voting for all new faces in the 2022 primaries. Can’t get different results by sending the same people to DC year after year.

Yep, and term limits. It’s bullshit they all end up millionaires. They’re there for the money not the people. Follow the oath you swore to as written or be removed. Yeah it’s a dream world I imagine.

I think 2022 is going to be a bloodbath for GOP.

If people think its bad now wait until democrats have huge majorities..

This is the just the beginning, I believe we might see a more conservative Republican party in 2022.

if I were Trump, rather than starting a third party I would work hard at primarying every Rino Republican that's out there. I believe the Democratic party is in more trouble than we realize and if we could get the torqued-off base motivated, we possibly could have large gains.

Sure will be. We might make headway in the house, but the Dem fraud machine will make sure they handily take the Senate.

If there is another 2018 mass retirement just before the election then yes.

It's already going to be just like 2018 with incumbent Republican politicians being paid more by donors to retire and take cushy lobbyist positions than stay and defend their seat.

Add in Trump not being on the ballot and thus not able to carry the senators in purple areas like he did in 2016 yeah it's going to be ugly.

That combined with the voter apathy, and disgust.

An awful lot of people are saying they won't be voting in the future.

I understand that frustration and see what lead people there, but I'm concerned all its going to do is give democrat super majorities.

Our only hope is that a pile of GOPe stooges get primaried by Trumplicans.

Of all the Republicans that hold Federal offices, and for whom I can vote, I ain't voting for them.

If I could only predict how quickly such a scenario would crash the country, it would make more comfortable with it.

Five years to hit rock bottom? Cool, let's do this. Mash the accelerator and point it at a wall.

Twenty years? Fuuuuuuck, I'll be dead before we claw back to normal.

I am not sure we would ever recover.

Especially on gun rights. Once laws are passed, it is never coming back barring a civil war and complete breakdown of society and rebirth.

Even if we see a red wave in response ( not likely ) the laws won't be repealed.

Part of the appeal of this scenario, is the opportunity to quote Firefly unironically.

No offense, but half of American voters think fraud will make that happen anyway. I understand not wanting to participate in a rigged system.

Exactly, I expect to see more of them quit or defect to the Democrats before the 2022 mid terms, the Republicans sealed their own fate, they could very well go down as the biggest group of failures in US history.

You are correct.

I see the usual idiots expecting a red wave, and I laugh at them.

Their abandonment of the trump voter will be their downfall.  Considering the situation, I can't feel sorry for them.

We aren't going to vote our way out of this.
