I really like it.
The ending shootout is amazing, IMO. “Goodbye, Cobb” “Goodbye, Payton” |

Yes, you're the only one who likes it. No one else has ever even seen it.

The Dog - Silverado (1985) |
It contains one of the most egregious firearms sin scenes where Kevin Costner shoots about 15 rounds out of a six shot revolver. Without reloading.
But I enjoy it. |
I like so much I have it on VHS, DVD and it's on my Direct TV DVR.

Great movie!!
"Now I Don’t Want to Kill You, and You Don’t Want to be Dead.” "We're gonna give you a fair trial, followed by a first class hanging" |
I usually like horse operas, don't really care for Silverado. To each their own.........

we've talked about several times... great flick... a classic even

Silverado basically brought westerns back to the silver screen. Great cast, very good writing and the only movie in which Kevin Costner was any good. Can't say the same for Scott Glen, though. And it's the only Danny Glover-infected movie I'll watch.
If we are talking 1st contemporary western?
Absolutely. Many more quasi authentic westerns began to be made. * * it should be understood that movies aren’t documentaries and are for entertainment. But hell yeah I still watch it when it’s on. |
I like it. One of those movies that are great for an afternoon when you are stuck somewhere, full of flaws, but so much fun you look past them.
Good flick. The score is excellent...but overdone.
I like the part when Scott Glenn rides into the bank robber hideout like he's running from a posse. |

I liked it, used to have the DVD, would watch it all the time.

Good flick. Watched it a couple of weeks ago after not seeing it for a few yrs.
The scene when Scott Glenn is in the cave all messed up, hears some bad news - (maybe that the bad guys have his brother??), pulls off his head bandage & is now ready for battle was kind of corny though.. Still - great movie. & agreed it is 1 of Costners best |
