Insurance has paid out every time there’s a protest. No, War, Riot, Insurrection, ect... are Specifically EXCLUDED Losses in 99% of insurance policies. Lots of victims get money from city, county or state "economic disaster" funds, or they get Go Fund Me money. but Insurance companies do not have to pay a single penny on homeowners, rents or Business insurance to "excluded" losses. They may choose to do so in good will, but that leaves them wide open to discrimination lawsuits later if they pay in one party but didn't pay another. |

You're implying there are enough police in the 3rd precinct which is far and away the largest in MPLS by a large margin. Granted they could take officers away from other precincts and county, but then those other precincts would have issues too. They were interested in damage control and not getting isolated. They still protected only their turf. To a point. The 3rd is pretty tore up. When Auto Zone sparked off they came over and and backed people away so the FD could do their thing. At that point fires were popping off in multiple locations, they were confronting protesters on multiple fronts, and running low on 40 mike mike munitions. They simply did not have the man power to protect business up and down multiple streets. |
