This is amazing.  Rudy says the warrant required them to take the Hunter hard drive, but on Rudy's word that it was Hunter's they refused to take it.

Theres a Tom Clancy book about it.

They seem to still be working on at least part of the plan.  The goal of ending production of internal combustion engine vehicles by 2035 (which they are trying to make federal law), is likely to create an energy bottleneck, since they still seem to be ignoring the limitations of production and distribution of electricity.  This will likely lead to some of the projected negative outcomes of the green new deal, though there is still some question of just how badly it will work out for us.

This is the party of 'pass a law and it will happen, ...somehow'.  Screw the details.  It's just such a wonderfully great idea, that anybody that points out that it won't work, is some racist, cis-gender, moron that can't understand science.  The science is settled.  It will work.  I saw it in a cartoon, and that's all the proof that is needed.  You can't argue with cartoon science.

Honestly, I think they are going to crash the power grid, with the increased load and poor planning.  They object to any stable (not heavily dependent on weather) additions to electricity production, and there are already some cities that have had to resort to rolling blackouts.  Add their compulsion for wanting everybody crammed into high density housing, which tends to not work all that well with the goal of lowering energy consumption, and there's no way this will work out, without some awesome levels of logistical planning that they have just never shown themselves capable of.

That's where people live, not their voting districts or such.

Sold-flipping-blue districts, Contiguous, large, some without a single red dot in them. Equal red districts with no blue? Nope. Small by comparison, and spread out.

German Intelligence Puts Coronavirus Deniers Under Surveillance

The country’s domestic intelligence agency says it will create a new department to deal with extremism among conspiracy theorists.
View Quote

BERLIN — Germany’s domestic intelligence service said on Wednesday that it would surveil members of the increasingly aggressive coronavirus denier movement because they posed a risk of undermining the state.

The movement — fueled in part by wild conspiracy theories — has grown from criticizing coronavirus lockdown measures and hygiene rules to targeting the state itself, its leaders, businesses, the press and globalism, to name a few. Over the past year, demonstrators have attacked police officers, defied civil authorities and in one widely publicized episode scaled the steps of Parliament.

“Our basic democratic order, as well as state institutions such as parliaments and governments, have faced multiple attacks since the beginning of the measures to contain the Covid-19 pandemic,” the Interior Ministry said in a statement confirming that parts of the denier movement would be under observation. The Interior Ministry oversees the intelligence agency, the Office for the Protection of the Constitution.

Officer killed during incident that ended at SanTan Motorplex in Gilbert
View Quote

GILBERT, AZ — Several law enforcement agencies responded to the SanTan Motorplex in Gilbert overnight for a police incident that left one officer dead.

Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb told ABC15 the incident started with a PCSO deputy, but he did not give more details on the original call.

The situation ended at SanTan Motorplex near Loop 202 SanTan and Val Vista Drive.

An employee working at a Circle K nearby told an ABC15 producer he heard gunfire coming from the scene.

ABC15 crews witnessed at least two ambulances leave the auto complex. Another crew witnessed someone being airlifted in an Arizona Department of Public Safety helicopter and brought to Chandler Regional Medical Center.

Police say Chandler Police Officer Christopher Farrar was struck and killed by a suspect driving a stolen vehicle earlier this evening. He was an 18-year veteran of the Chandler Police Department.
