This is one of my favorite books of all time. It's exceedingly witty and well written.

Selous Scouts: Top Secret War.

Not easy to find for a reasonable price though.

The older mid to late '70s SOF magazine always had some really cool first hand accounts about Rhodesia.

I believe someone here posted a website that had the old SOF magazines scanned as pdf files for each issue.

Croukamp's The Bush War In Rhodesia

It's out of print, I think it was Delta or Paladin, one of those how to make bombs book companies that published it.  $95 on Amazon right now, but I have seen it regularly popup on ebay and larger online book resellers for $20 - where I got mine.

Probably one of the most unvarnished disturbing plain spoken war books I've read. Nobody comes off that great.

I got Fire Force, Three Sips of Gin, Bush War Operator, The Rhodesian Bush War: Fifty Years On, and We Dared to Win on order.  Also, I have a Rhodesian Bushstroke pattern set to be cerakoted on my 20" AR through my business. :)

I bought and read that book. Can't highly recommend it. The writing isn't very good and the end part when he's training foreign troops didn't make a whole lot of sense.

There is a sequel to that book but I'm not sure I can read more of the authors repetitive writing.

Read Fire Force.  It's pretty neat.  The others just arrived.  Intend to read three sips of gin next.
