Man, I should spend the money on something like body armor instead, but that's one of my 2 grail guns. I’m having a real hard time talking myself down from buying a kit. I know all the kits left are beat to shit .308 conversions for $1200+, but it’s not like they’re making more.

So your saying Sarco will have the $199 Israeli kits again and KMT triggers and side plates will be $150 and All I’ll need is a rivet kit and the optional $75 A6 kit. I’m good with that !

Shit! I sold my semi to cheap $2500 about a year ago but I did get a good deal on a transferable so there’s that.
Honestly though they are way heavy for a semi and with 30-06 being $2/rnd and cheap 308 $1/rnd I would go with an RPD if I just had to have a semi belt fed. I have one of those still and they are fun and cheaper to shoot but parts aren’t as easy to find and no switching calibers. |

Honestly, after shooting a friends real deal M60E6, I’d go that way, even if it was a semi. Those things are like a M249 on steroids, but being a partial/semi bull pup design, they balance oh so nice. Plus the E6 is dead ass reliable. Yes a M240 would be more fun, but the thought of a belt fed user served, verse a crew served is worth allot.
