Yep, I loved the part where he basically said the democommunists couldn't blame Trump anymore (no more boogeyman) and would have to now legislate / work.

LOL
'knocking it out of the park' implies a home run, that your team scored, and you're either increasing your lead over your opponent, or catching up to them. Neither of those have happened because of this interview. Stop slobbering over sound bites and tough talk and look for concrete results instead. |

The entirety of the republican party has a long, long way to go before I would consider trusting any of them as individuals or the party as an entity.
The whole "meh, whatever, who cares if there was fraud, at least the Orange Asshole is gone and we can go back to the swamp" thing utterly destroyed with little faith I had in them. |

[#10]
At this point, what does it matter? People can talk, yell, scream all they want. The dems don’t care and This changes nothing. Yeah, it’s great that Rand stands up up, but does it really do anything?
It’s all so tiring. |

I've just been here long enough to see GD's general consensus of Rand, Cruz, and others of the Tea Party era go from being championed to being POS at some point within the past five years. |

I know there are a lot of people who are beyond frustrated because of where we are now as a country.
Maybe RP had to give a speech on the floor just so it was entered into the public record (a formality, as it were). That's fine, but don't lose sight of the work "behind the scenes" of governance that must occur. Write your letters and make your phone calls if you must, be don't stop short and fail to call RP's office and ask them what the average citizen can DO to advance those common goals. "PERFECT" IS THE ENEMY OF THE "GOOD ENOUGH". |

He was constantly saying they'd be overturning certified election results, he was saying it was about overturning an election. Small problem, in the states with all the fraud, *there was no election.* If it's said that what happened in those states was an election ... Since when was - by every indicator we have from the very best sources (completely ignoring the whole kracken dominion smartmatic Q stuff) - theft ... considered an election? As for supposedly upholding the constitutional process, it's like he was simply ignoring the 12th amendment. The 1870s law on contested electors is a raging un-readable mess and regardless what it says, it can't over-ride the federal constitution. Regardless the possible outcome, at least the electors from the states that bluntly broke their own laws should have been contested; but because of what happened earlier that night ... they all dropped that, with very few exceptions. |

But that pretty much guarantees future failure. If Trump's supporters had any humility they'd learn from his 4 years - what he did right and what he did wrong - and move forward. Or they can live in the past and guarantee that we lose everything in the future. I hate how the election turned out. I voted for Trump. I wanted to see the fraud exposed. But like it or not, it didn't happen the way we wanted. Make the best of what's in front of us. |
