So I'm making another batch of Joe's ancient orange mead and I had a thought. Could this recipe/method be followed but instead of oranges, use apples and more cinnamon? I was talking to a coworker and he also suggested using straight apple juice instead of water. Discuss. I'm a noob.

I have been waiting for someone more experienced to reply. I have done the Joe’s ancient made recipe and it turned out great. I’ve done pretty much the same thing using other fruits and cinnamon instead of cloves it turned out great. As far as using apple juice, I think you would want to stay with something that’s 100% pure no additives, completely organic. Good luck |

Local orchards around here sell juice, I was going to go with that to be safe. Thank you for letting me know you had good success with other fruits.
