I've noticed that every time a Democrat president takes over for a Republican, the right gets really wound up. I guess 1993 was sort of tense, but not too tense. 2009 was much worse with Rush Limbaugh comically being declared the leader of the GOP remnant. It even saw the creation of the TEA Party, which was a largely productive political movement. Now in 2021, the Capitol building became, uhm, occupied by...mostly peaceful protestors. In any event, things have definitely been winding up over the past few decades.
So I figure that Biden will last about a year and be a factory-stock moderate. After that, he'll resign/croak/whatever and Harris will take over and drive things to left harder than Mao. The populace will get pissed off and in 2022, kick the Democrats out of the House (similar to 2010). I figure we'll get a GOP president for 2024 (if the party survives) who will then win re-election in 2028. But in 2032, the country will probably vote a Democrat in again.
So given the trend, how bad is 2032 going to be?
