I can't imagine that the Swiss are interested in sticking very close to the EU as they sink, so I wouldn't be overly concerned about long-term impacts from EU gun laws.

And make no mistake, they are going to sink. It's a done deal, the only question remaining is the timing and nature of it all going to shit.

I would say Switzerland is our canary in the RKBA world, if a model to RKBA in the world can be taken by fear without a fight from the citizens it’s designed to protect we the USA are next.

We need to wake up, stay woke... it’s no longer a Cali problem or a NY problem... it’s Our American problem . The doctrine to disarm us is here and alive and well, it’s a threat that we must consider to fight or give in.

It's a bit complicated. Gun laws (and associated freedoms) have actually improved in most of the US, over the last 50 years.

And the infringements on those you've mentioned are largely flaunted, by a people who clearly don't have many fucks to give.

No double majority needed here since it's a referendum about a law. The double majority is required for a constitutional change with a popular initiative (requires 100k signature in a year time, compared to a referendum which is 50k in 3 months)

We need a popular majority of no for the parliament decision to enact the new law to be overruled.

What Arfcom need to fully realise is that this is the Swiss being punished for Muslim terror attacks in fucking France. Al while the Swiss were not massively importing Muslims and pretty much minding their own buisness.
