He takes forever, but he's well credentialed and the price is right. |

Photo dump and first post in this subforum. Here is my poor-man's collection of watches and the story behind each one:
First up is my Timex. 2006 in Great Lakes, IL, for about $25; I purchased it right after I graduated boot camp because I felt that it went really well with my dress blues. 
In the summer of 2008, I got this AW-590 G-Shock from my Japanese girlfriend as a birthday present while I was stationed in Japan. I've pretty much been wearing this watch every day at work since (LEO now). 
This GA-200SH G-Shock is a Birthday gift from my current fiancee (just started dating back then), back in 2012, because she was jealous of me always wearing the other G-Shock after I told her where it came from. I still wear the older one more because I feel that I can bang it up more without worrying about it. 
I asked for this specific watch from my Secret Santa in 2012, after being switched to business attire at work temporarily and needed something a little more suited for the job. It's a Fossil ME1113 quartz, but it has a set of exposed gears that are automatic. 
A huge Invicta 16899 I-Force, 2014 Christmas present from the fiancee. She fell for their marketing trap and saw it as a daily deal on Amazon, marked down from like $900 or something to just $100, so she just had to get me it
And finally, I got this Citizen Eco-Drive this Christmas from my Secret Santa (same person who got me the Fossil too lol). 
Now, I'm interested in picking up my first automatic; maybe Tissot or Hamilton. Although, I think I'll have to dish out the money for this one myself

I received my first Vostok Amphibia today! I'm starting to get addicted to affordable automatic divers. I'm pretty impressed with this watch, especially for the money. Apart from the common complaints such as the lume, original band, etc, it really is an attractive watch. It also seems pretty well-made.

My new Traser Officer Pro. I bought a Marathon General Purpose but it was a tiny little thing.
Pic of tiny Marathon. I watched a hundred videos before I bought it and no one said a thing about how small it was. I never had the brains to look at the dial size. It is as big as a half dollar.
