Local pawnshop wants $350 for it. I don't know exactly what model it is but I have a few questions if anybody has answers.

Is it worth it?
Can I shoot .22LR in it?
Should I grab it?

Yes you will never find another.

Negative. Chamber is different.

No to shooting 22LR in a 22 Magnum firearm.  It may go bang, but the chamber is bigger for the magnum.  You could split the LR case.

Model 72, I think?  If it's in good shape, 350 is a bargain.  It's not a 9422, but it's a lever from a better time.

Yup this is it, I just figured it out. It's a single shot, no loading gate, it loads a round from the top.

I figured out its a Model 49 single shot top loader, I'll probably pass on it. I saw it @ Cash America Pawn on 4th St. N, St. Pete.

It's still US made from a sort of legendary manufacturer.  Would be a great 1st gun if it's in average shape.

300 or so is the average price here for the 49 .22mag. They are nice guns. If you can get them down a bit you will like the rifle.

Cash America probably gave 50 bucks for it.

I, personally, would probably pass on it if it is a single shot.  Might be a buyer at 200.00.

Almost bought one long ago, it was $25 new.  The repeaters were $45 or $49, too much for me.

Yup small world. I work on the road all over Pinellas County so I keep them all on rotation but 4th is usually the best one around. I moved to the other side of town so now I usually hit 34th & 13th and 34th & 54th more often. Last time I snagged a M&P 40 for $299.

Dry, unless you steamed them for a long time.

I inherited an M49 from my dad.  More guns are always better, but I don’t have any idea if he bought it new or got a good deal on it used.  It’s not a bad rifle, but I don’t know what that design does better than any other .22 rifle.

Thanks for the info.  If it was a lever with a tube magazine I'd jump on it.

Make sure its not this. It looks like a lever and has a fake tube mag I think. Ithica aso made single shot shotguns that looked like a lever. Model 66 if I remember correctly
