Yeah the DPMS is gonna be awesome.. as is the rest. i cant wait to get a Suppressor from AAC and a retro H&R hopefully, but im curious on the storm lake, as i love their pistol barrels.. in fact i have one of them in my PSA 1911 that i built. It would be nice to see them come back better than ever with PSA driving the boat!!!. Im so excited for PSA and the new ventures that they were able to pick up. Way to go!! |

This is great news!!! I cant wait to see the retro and DPMS new Production. It'll be great with a nice cleaned up Panther. (thanks brick) Josiah forwarded a pic of a finished DPMS lower. Not sure if they are ready to release images just yet. Will wait for his response. In the past, the original DPMS artwork was a tough design to reduce and cut into a lower by stamp or mill. The laser nails it, matches the original (retro) design very well, very clean and sharp. I'm also looking forward to seeing what PSA does with AAC. My first can was an AAC Ranger II. If permitted, I could get pretty creative concerning AAC logos and artwork. |

@beitodesstrafe When I built the SpaceCannon-10 a few members commented the short barrel, folder, and pistol brace, didn't really go with the theme. I considered SBR'ing it, but never got around to it. Your thread (Ruger Precision Rifle or some sort of AR-10 thing), got me rethinking the space cannon build. I pulled the short barrel and added a polished 18" Stainless steel version. MFT now makes an aluminum stock that works really well for the original design lines. I took it apart, polished it out, and added cerakote. Your thread cost me money, but it was a smart move and looks better. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

Red To connect the Space Force themed builds I've finished on so far (SPACEFORCE-15, SPACEROVER-15, SPACECANNON-15), I designed a USSF flag and QR style code for each rifle. It helps them sort of match. I got carried away with the first one and made an entire manual for it Archived thread here. As for the magwell, with the exception of the Magpul drum (chrome vinyl wrap), anything that you see in the photos that looks chromed or silver, is actually polished metal. Every part was sand blasted, hand sanded in stages, then buffed to a shine. Once everything was polished it was taped off, sand blasted again, and painted with Cerakote. The majority of the entire top, and full underside of the firearm lengthwise, has a single racing stripe traveling down the rail, around the magwell, grip, and stock, then back across the top. |
