Most of the visible parts will have to be redesigned for a correct retro line, and that’s assuming they’re just building M16A1s, If they go earlier then even fewer parts would be correct. Truthfully most people will be fine with “close enough” I imagine. A proper upper, lower, and a pencil barrel should do that. Furniture will be the hardest part I think, Brownells did a decent job with theirs, but they’re still lacking, especially the grips. |

In a quandry. Getting ready to unbuild a .300blk on an old Cav Arms lower and rebuild into a regular AR carbine. Question is, which lower do I use? Among the unbuilt PSA meme lowers I've got, are, A Minuteman lower, SN 13X A KAG lower, SN 213X A 'Murica lower, SN 219X A Trash Panda lower, SN 4X Do I go with the 'Murica lower and keep my low number lowers pristine? Do I go with the KAG as a poke in the eye? Do I go with the Minuteman because potential iglo0? Or just say fuckit and build a Trash Panda even with the really low SN? I ask the hive. Specifically the PSA fanboi module. Or do I need to start a dedicated thread to include a poll? |
