Anyone ever done these online dog training courses?  Seems to be a lot of places offering this kind of service.  Not sure if it would be worth it or not.  If you've got one that you especially like or dislike, I'd sure appreciate your thoughts.

(I don't even own a dog yet.  Not in a rush.)

I watched a lot of Tom Davis' YouTube dog training videos.

What kind of training are you interested in?

Just general "how to train a dog" type of knowledge.  Maybe a training plan - like "first work on X, then start doing Y, don't worry about Z until way later".  That type of thing.  I don't need to work on anything fancy for now.  I gotta train myself and my family as much as I'll need to train the dog.

I've been watching a bunch of this Stonnie Dennis guy on YT.  He seems to make a lot of sense.

So I just wondered if anyone here has done any of these online dog training courses that might be willing to advise.  Or maybe the online course aren't worth the money?  Just watch some video's and read some books and go to some in person training is better??  I don't know.
