So, I made a thread about it last Shot Show when they actually still sold shirts on here.............I guess that's not a thing anymore?   But anyway, I was kind of critical of the ARFCOM guys wearing shirts that were not for sale at SHOT.  For an event where items are displayed for the sake of future release, wearing some one off shirts with no intent of them ever being a thing seems like typical behavior we would see from ARFCOM.
I am pretty sure that the site could probably make a good amount in return if they were offered to members or whoever.  What's the deal with the shop?  Did it just cease to exist with the Brownell's takeover?   Am I wrong?

They make really top notch guns. I have 2 of their BAR’s, a standard SLR and the Colt licensed one, as well as the M240. While I have no interest in the tactical BAR it is pretty neat for those that do.

Don't let them attach any of those silencers to a firearm on video, James, or you'll get YouTube strikes.

Time to renegotiate your contracts to at least simulcast on Rumble.  Or just keep walking down that incrementally restrictive path, counting your cash, until you can't even show a firearm a YT.

Aluminum 12ga suppressor?  I'm not overly confident in that.  I have some of the rebel cans and aluminum cans and mounts are not that great.  I'm happy to pony up for stainless and titanium.

I'm sure it's immature and horrible.  Plus, most of these guys are probably locked into their various platforms in their deals.  Even if they aren't, they'll lose audience and sponsors going to Rumble.  At least for the near to mid term.

But they are dead men walking on YouTube.

It's clear YouTube wants these guys off their platform.  Like the ATF, YouTube is continually reinterpreting their rules to go after folks.  In the latest examples, mounting a silencer or inserting a larger cap magazine on video now constitutes "assembling a firearm" and is a violation.  But even worse than the ATF, YouTube is going back into creators' history to find violations for these newly defined policies, and then issuing strikes for that old content  And you only need three strikes to be banned.


So yeah, Rumble sucks right now and creators going there will take a huge hit, but it is very shortsighted not to be working with your parent and advertisers to get approved to at least simulcast content there and devise strategies to start to shift some audience there.  No doubt, the eyeballs are almost all on YouTube, but if major content creators like GT, Mr. GNG, and TFB start pushing folks, you might start to reach a self-sustaining critical mass of audience regularly visiting that platform ...thereby motivating more creators to go there.


My suggestion to the guntubers - continue to host videos on YT, but rather than continuing to bend to YouTube's ever restrictive policies and excluding things from videos, blur sections of frames that would get you YT strikes, and each time you do, overlay a message that says something like, "To see the uncensored video (and other uncensored firearms-related content), click here to see our Rumble channel."

Otherwise, these guys will be progressively neutered on YouTube until they've lost most of their audience anyway.  The next set of restrictions are coming. Count on it.  Perhaps they won't be able to show an AR soon.  And then no semi automatics.  And then no firearms at all.  And then no firearm accessories.  You can see this coming.  You only have to look at what Twitter was doing to understand how hard these guys are trying to deplatform conservatives by any means necessary ...and unfortunately, Elon cannot buy YouTube.

As an unabashed Geissele fanboy, that’s a bit disappointing. They introduced the same rifle last year at SHOT 2022. They were also supposed to be making rifles ambi.

As far as the price goes, Geissele has sales basically every other month. You know you’ll be able to buy that rifle way under msrp as long as you buy during a sale.

It wouldn't need one, would it?  The barrel would either not need gas ports or, if it had them, they could be sealed with some form of adjustable gas block.  But then you wonder how compatible this would be with a standard upper...and my guess would be not very.
