Lions signed former 1st round pick Payton Turner DE. I don't know what Brad Holmes loves so much about players that are seemingly constantly injured but here we go! I don't know a thing about Turner other than his injury history. Anyone care to enlighten me about him? |

Did anyone watch any of the flag football stuff last week leading into the games Saturday? There was a clip of Bray roasting Jayden Daniels saying he hadnt seen him play in like 8 months and was surprised his mom let him play this weekend

The more I think about it, the Jaylen Waddle Trade makes sense for Denver. 1) Waddle is young, and has a good history of availability. 2) Waddle is set to make $20MM, which isn't a ton for a top receiver 3) Denver was set to pick 30th in the draft this year, and didn't think they could get someone "better" than Waddle in this year's draft 4) Waddle is reportedly a good team/culture fit, was roommates with DPOY Pat Surtain II In many categories Waddle has been a "top 10" wide receiver since he's entered the league, low drop rate, high YAC, and nearly 50% first down percentage. When asked if he was going to be the #1 or #2 wide receiver on the roster, he said: "I don't think there are No. 1s, everyone is here to make plays and try to win," he said Wednesday, via the team's official transcript. "That's ultimately the goal for the team and for the organization." "I think over my time, I got a chance to play all over the place," Waddle said. "So I think that helps just knowing the offense inside and out, being able to put me in different spots. I think that's always helpful, just being able to go around and play different positions." I think culture/fit has been hugely important to successful teams. |

NFL rules proposed changes I'm against changing the kickoff rules to prevent the kickoff team from kicking the ball out of bounds. To me this is deliberately eliminating the effect of the 15 yard penalty the receiving team received on the previous play, the point after touchdown play. And 15 yard penalties on point after TD plays are typically unnecessary roughness for running over the kicker and unsportsmanlike conduct - i.e. fighting, ripping of helmet etc. between linemen. The receiving team committed a 15 yard penalty, they should end up losing 15 yards for their next play. If a rule change is needed it should be do a normal kickoff play, then penalize the receiving team the 15 yards. Though that will make the people who want this change even more upset as now you can kick the ball into the end zone, and have the ball end up at the 20 instead of the 35. And of course any runback for a TD would get called back, deciding where to place the ball by rule in that case would also be interesting. But letting a DL deliberately run over the kicker, and then turn it into a 5 yard or no penalty on the following kickoff just shouldn't happen, but that's what it sounds like the rule change would do. |

Mock Draft Cowboys have 2 first round picks and then have to wait until 3rd round for another. Like their "mock" picks but also would be surprised if they get them all. If one of their first rounders get picked, wonder if they trade down to pick up a 2nd round pick. |
