I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't one. Two months ago the Dems thought they were well on their way to avoiding a red wave. They are depressed right now. Abortion won't save them with gas prices going back up and inflation taxing the shit out of everyone.
We could see some oppo research drop in individual races, like in GA but nothing on a national scale. |

The democrats know they are going to get destroyed in the midterms next month. They have no message, no successes, nothing they can point to that has made life better for anyone except themselves. All they have is Orange Man Bad, and he's been out of office for almost two years. Constantly invoking him got stale a long time ago. The economy is about to get much, much worse. It can be argued that the democrats have created this entire massive mess so they can then dump it all in the laps of the GOP for the next two years. In 2024, when the country is in the middle of a famine, depression, and collapse, the DNC can then ride in "to the rescue" and announce they are coming to fix it all. Of course, no one will remember that the democrats were the communists who actually caused all of the problems in the first place. But the DNC knows that the normals are pissed off. Trump left the country in a good place. The democrats have, as expected, squandered it all. And they refuse to do even little things to help try to fix it. So I could totally see the democrats not exactly being upset that the GOP takes the House and Senate. That means they will deny any responsibility for what is predicted to be very bad years coming up. |
