This video is important for a couple reasons,other than apparently this video was found via searching Vk for names of Russian dead:
It shows in a small way the issues Russia has with integrating nationalities/races in their army as the number of them grow and number of Slavs dwindle.
Those Buryats and Dagestanis don’t really feel any great kinship with Russians and have zero motivation or reason to fight with enthusiasm. Meanwhile Kadyrov is in an interesting position: has has to supply as many men as Putin asks but losing a great number of men weakens him incredibly at home as there are plenty of Chechen clans that want him gone. |
