Think I found the issue with my cable.
Had to go to the store and when I got back there was still a little light out so I checked the cable from the pole to my house, about 5 inches before the cable connects to the house a section of cable is frayed almost burnt looking. Nothing around for it to rub on though! As far as I know there isn't any significant amount of electricity going through a cable wire. Still can't figure out how some channels get through and others don't. |

Pretty much what we did, not a lot of talking, just returning to a missing channel and seeing if it works or not. A tech will be out tomorrow to inspect the line to the house. Lost the channels yesterday morning before dropping my daughter off to school. Happened on both TV's at the same time. Unplugged both set boxes to reset like it said to do in the online trouble shooter. No improvement. Strange thing is I still have a couple channels, crystal clear, unfortunately they are the channels I don't watch. Included in the missing channels is the one I need most for the race. |

They carry about as much electricity as phone lines do. Which is not much. Yet burnt then something happened. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Tonight Johnny will be racing for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series championship for the fourth time in his career. Lately on social media I have noticed some people talking about where Johnny is as a driver and how maybe he should hang up his hat and let the “young guys “ race. Just because my husband is 40 years old and ruffles feathers, please don’t wish him away from NASCAR. What would be left without drivers who reach their boiling point after a loss and spice things up? Now some back story on Johnny for those who may not know. 10 years ago Johnny lost his job in the xfinity series. That blow came three months after we were married and just four months after losing his previous job in the Cup series. I remember seeing Johnny at the track in Martinsville in the Spring of 2008 trying to mingle with teams and drum up a job. I was working for Paul Menard at the time and I watched him from afar thinking that a driver being at a race track without a ride may be one of the most humbling times in their lives. I guess even now I can remember the look on his face, leaning against a stack of tires, just being at the track because he knew if he wanted to be hired he had to be there, albeit in street clothes. Then he got a call from Matt Crafton... and from that call came an opportunity to race in the Truck Series. We were absolutely thrilled for his opportunity to race competitively! And by the grace of God, this series has been his home for the past decade. It has allowed Johnny to visit victory lane 23 times more than he ever expected. If you had asked that driver standing against a stack of tires in Martinsville 10 years ago if he would ever win another race, his answer would have been no way. I want to make something perfectly clear. For Johnny, the truck series is not a stop on his way somewhere else. It is a place for my husband that has helped us create a life. It is the series the has seen us through our first year of marriage and then grow into a family of six. It is the series that gave him his first NASCAR championship and God willing a second.
