Meh, I'll hold out for the festool version made of solid plastic, with a proprietary ceramic blade, and which I can easily hook up to dust collection.

Milwaukee's Best? The 48-22-1505 Utility Knife with Bit Driver. EDC meets Shop Tool for the win. |
|

Ive got one like it without the screwdriver and bottle opener, its just a flip knife with the replacement blade holder. I love it.

I have no brand loyalties, majority of my power tools are dewalt, but I’ll say the milwaukee gravity style utility knives are my favorite. Easy one hand opening, and they haven’t gone completely loosey goosey in several years now.

The bit holder is good for me. Any other brands have a bit holder?

What is the 0.70" dimension for?

Been rocking the inexpensive Fastback for years. Love the ability to just swap in a new razor blade.

Sisyphus had it easy.

Love these. One of the only Milwaukee tools head and shoulders above the rest. Klein has a similar one but it falls short.
Downside for this guy is there are two versions of the bit holder. Integral spring detent is most excellent. Captured ball and spring under the external sleeve is garbage- the sleeves come off so easy; avoid at all cost. |

Just picked one up the other day, not bad.

I will never again buy a utility knife with a quick release blade.

I hate the button type utility knifes.
I bought a few thinking they would be great, in reality what happens is you try flip it open, forget to let go of the button, and it just flops back closed. Kobalt still makes the best compact utility knife. |

Simpler to execute safely and they also lock the knife when folded. The deep pocket clip is a great feature to slip the thin utility folder in the back pocket. Ive used the husky ones. Lifetime warranty.
Swap at home depot. Older models had a shitty blade lock and blade would slip out. Later types have been rock solid. When you drywall, you swap blades a lot. I use them all the time. |

#3 in two years. They tend to disappear sometimes.
Attached File I don't like folders. I also like having the ability to adjust blade depth depending on what I'm cutting. It's one of my most used tools. I like Milwaukee, just not that style utility knife. |

I like mine. Use it almost everyday. It is a little bulky though

If abused as in for self defense, would the blades tend to break off?
