I bought a new to me camera, a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye. First time I have shot film since 2002.

Here are some of the photo's I took with it.

I was not able to clean the camera all the way before I shot the film, but I bought 2 more to use for extra parts and have cleaned it thoroughly. So hopefully my next roll will look a bit better.

Fingerprint on lens or intentional haze?

I could not get the front glass cleaned due to a stripped-out screw. I have it completely cleaned now so hoping for better results with the second roll of film.

B&W film in there should give you some pretty awesome looking prints with real character to them.

those are great little cameras, I took some really good shots with mine.
my friend asked me to take a pic of his new car a while ago. it came out really good for a 50 year old camera.
I used Kodak Ektar100. Developed and scanned by The Darkroom

BW comes out great. Keep it to 100iso so you don't over expose. It runs between 1/30th and 1/50th a second on exposure timing, and about F15.

Those are fun.
I used one over 30 years ago in photo school.
I ended up with several versions of them before I finished.

I recall people putting Vaseline on the lens to intentionally soften the image. I don't know if that comes off very well though.
Then there's the plastic Diana camera with the plastic lens...
