I really think an aluminum bezel at this price point is uncalled for. They could have lumed a ceramic bezel for that price. |

There’s a lot of SMP300 nods going on. |

On a different level than the Bond piece, I have a Seiko 5 Compressor coming this week. Looking forward to it as a knockaround, daily driver.

Usually coincides with traditional tool watches not having a date. While common they are also less common if that makes sense. |

Owning a couple vintage day/date automatic watches without any quick set date function will make you look real hard for a no-date if you are like me and wear a different watch everyday. I just want to pick it up, wind it a little, set the time and go. Having an incorrect day or date will bother me too much to even look at the watch. Also, the dials just look so much better without them. I have been wearing a day date with the full day up top....... I do enjoy that.

Anybody owned a Squale 1545 GMT?
Thinking of trying one out instead of the Glycine Combat sub. |

Too late. I just got a Vostok. I know they aren’t super duper timepieces. They are cool cheap automatic watches though. |

Been thinking about buying a single really nice watch and being done with buying/selling/trading and having multiple watches. Just one watch for the rest of my life.
Not a Rolex fan. Do not want something normally recognizable. Thinking: - Speedy Pro - Navitimer - Either an original 809, 809 Cosmonaut, or the new 809 re-issue - Black Bay 58 Probably wear mostly on a nato, leather nato, or leather band. Not really a bracelet guy. |

Still waiting on my MkII Project 300. Also just got on the waitlist with an AD for a no-date Submariner.
