We had a test run with some Arfcommers yesterday and today we're going public.
Kaf1r, YT911, and myself are sponsoring a BF3 Hardcore server due to popular demand for hardcore mode, better map lists, and active administration. Team America Hardcore BF3 is the server name. IP: 67.222.138.132:25200 This server is hosted by Branzone in Dallas, TX. They have very high end server boxes with great bandwidth. If you guys have any suggestions, or need to report hackers, cheaters, etc., this is a good place to do it. I would also recommend joining the Arfcom Teamspeak 3 server that is graciously owned and maintained by YT911. Doesnt battlefield 3 have squad/team voice chat built in? |

Teamspeak is a program that allows you to voice chat with other people. Currently you can only voice with people in your "party" in battlelog. Got to the teamspeak website and download teamspeak 3. Alright people get on! I'm tired of playing with shitty teammates who only care about kills and not capping, and playing regular mode where I hit someone 5+ times with my stock AK and they kill me in two hits with a PS90.
Me actually being a teamplayer reviving, healing and capturing the point. I revived over 20 people, and I wasnt revived once!

Not a cheater gun, it just takes very little skill to use. Not very sporting for your prey. Its typically looked down upon in competitive bf3 circles, along with IRNV and Tac light mounted on primary. But use what you want, it doesn't bother me any.

I don't have a mic but I could buy one on my way home from work... is teamspeak worth it? Is it just a gaggle of people badmouthing each other like XBox or is there a decent layer of squad tactic stuff? I don't play many online games so I'd more or less be buying the mic just for this game.

You could always just listen in for a night. Its a lot easier to organize your squad with voice comms. We do BS a bit in there, but its all in good fun.

however you set up your client. I have mine set up to be voice activated - and comms go on headphone, while game is on surround sound.

Good games tonight! Its 1am where I am and the server is still packed. We have people from Russia, S. Korea, Venezuela, France, Canada, and Germany all playing on the same server at the same time.

The F2000 has very little muzzle rise and deals a lot of damage. Even less muzzle rise with the vertical forgrip. Strap on the cheater scope and you got yourself a god gun.
