A meter that the electric company installed and most likely installed at her place as well?
She can kick rocks. She cant do shit about it. Sounds like your going to have issues with this new cat lady living next to you. |

Sounds like she doesn't know anything. I'm not aware of any electric meters that use a cellular interface. Most are either 900mhz or send signal back through the power lines. They sometimes have an IR communication method as well for local configuration purposes. Like your TV remote.
None of the above is harmful under normal circumstances. Abnormal? You'd have to be trying to eat it while it's transmitting and even then it's arguable. |

No has the understands. Assume the meter is being relocated & replaced? If not, then why is this an issue all of the sudden.
How far from all the things is this meter? MS paint?... ...also, tell her to take it up with the utility company as it’s their 5g meter |

Just the meter correct? and not a 5G tower/transmitter?
 I was happy when they finally installed a smart meter at my house. No need to leave my side gate open so that the meter man can get in just to read the meter. Pretty weak signal from the meter, just enough that a passing Edison van can read all of the signals. My cell phone puts out a stronger signal. |

One of the larger IOT modem suppliers (Telit) is selling 5G telemetry products, so it's quite likely it really is a 5G meter if the infrastructure is in the area. The network providers don't want to lose out on that market. Of course 5G doesn't necessarily mean it's running in the mm wave bands, either. |

I got a notice they're changing the meter at my place in Ohio too.
My cabin in WV had a smart meter on it when I bought it. No 5G there though. Lucky to get a cell signal at all. About all they do with it there is remote read. The meter reader just drives by instead of having to walk in and read it. |
