 in this gravity well the kid sized ones work, because the pilot is 65 pounds need more horsepower for an adult sized one about 15 years ago, i built an adult sized spin car with the hand cranked side wheels kinda like this one  it worked but it was a heck of a work out on a tennis court |

There was a movie I think is the early 80's maybe late 70's that had a sit down cart. It was driven by 2 sticks one each side. They did the controls the same way, I tried to build one. I spent lots of money on pulleys and belts and never got a motor. It would be awesome these days with small 4 wheel tires in the woods.
Edit these where close, but not same I think, but its been a long time. These have regular steering but imagine something with the tank type controls, would be easy to do with battery power.  Silent Running 1972 - Kart Race (ATV Buggies) - Watermarked |
