The National Rifle Association will participate in CNN's nationally televised town hall Wednesday with students, parents and community members who were affected by last week's school shooting....The NRA accepted CNN's invitation to participate in the town hall and national spokeswoman Dana Loesch will represent the organization.

Neither do I. Especially given that it is the most liberal of all the MSM putting it on. Hopefully she has prepped for being attacked from all sides by multiple people and crying children, all at the same time.

Yesterday all the NRA haters were saying "why doesn't the NRA go to the media" well they get their wish. For some reason I doubt they will change their tune about hating the organization that has been fighting off the anti-gunners for them.

Dana's pretty good. Given that she knows she's going to be walking into a trap with zero chance of any sort of balanced objectivity, i'm guessing she'll prep ahead of time for the hostile environment she'll be in.

I'm guessing that you haven't seen anything spewed out by MSNBC? As much as I detest and refuse to watch the Communist News Network ( I stopped watching them about 20 years ago), I can't believe that you actually think that they are more liberal than MSNBC.

I don't watch anything, except for Fox News for my national news and they show clips from the various commie/hate channels like MSNBC, CNN, and others. It's so very obvious that CNN is probably the least offensive of all of these commie networks. I do not recommend that anyone watch any of these disgusting networks, but, in your case, it might be worth a "look see" (as John Wayne used to say in his movies) for you to flip channels to compare them. I tried this once and could only stand a few minutes on each channel before the nausea factor kicked in to compel a channel change. But, try it. You'll find that the other networks are much more liberal than Communist News Network. Though, I do not recommend that anyone watch any of them for more than a minute or two.

I don’t think this is a bad idea. All the public is seeing are anti gun types. The people who hate guns won’t be changed, but the millions on the fence might be different. Especially if she keeps her cool and points out to gun owners that these people have no intention of giving them a fair shake. No intention of listening to facts.

On a related note I hope she has her personal security with her. She recently said in an interview I saw that she has received enough serious death threats toward her and her kids that she was forced to move to an undisclosed location.

Things have gone well past the fubar stage.

I actually listened to dana yesterday and I heard her arguments. I turned it off because she was completely uninteresting and gave me a headache..

This guy IMHO is NRA's ace up the sleeve to battle the MSM that they will never play

They should send Ted Cruz with or instead of her, as he is very good at ripping new ass-holes on that type of thing. While I don't care for him as a politician I'll give him his props and then some on that.

Dana Loesch may have "guts" to a point but she is still a woman and i worry about the whole thing morphing into feels. We don't require a show pony, we require a draft horse.

Cruz would hit them with facts and as mightily boring as they would be in a Cruz delivery the conversation would stay on track despite CNN's best efforts.

After Newtown the NRA wisely declined Obama's gun control town hall. Back then they knew that they wouldn't be allowed to speak and would just be a punching bag for the camera to zoom in on while the actors gave their scripted remarks. Participating in a CNN town hall now is a really stupid move, but the NRA has been full of stupid moves for the last few months.

I wonder what piece of gun control the NRA will agree to support this time.
