One on the left has some kind of design in the middle. The Russian flag doesn't have anything there. Of course I've got an American flag with Lets go Brandon on it so..

Are they actually from Ukraine and Russia or are they just two angry old boomers who are still feuding over a parking spot from the 1950s?

RUSSIAN. The double headed chiken symbol is in the middle of the flag also.
