I calmly explained how nice she looked and then what the problem with buying Levis is. She offered to return the jacket unsolicited. Nice.

If she likes the jacket tell her to look for a used one on ebay. This way Levi's is not "receiving" any new money from the sale.

just say she looks nice.
shes your daughter you cant control everything |

If she was in anything other than clothing, thick clothing from head to toe , your response should have been , " like a tramp"
GO PUT ON MORE CLOTHES! !111''111!!! |

Well, I don't think it's a big deal. I spent money on a Disney vacation with the family. Not sure how much went towards park expenses and how much went towards LGBTQ gender equality training programs.
That jacket has various costs associated with it. Not sure how much goes towards their anti-gun campaign. |

I have two daughters ages 12 and 15. ALWAYS reply with either "you look great" or "you look beautiful" and look like you mean it. They may still think your full of shit but when they get older all they will remember is you telling them how great and beautiful they are.

You should have said. "Better than Larry Potterfield." View Quote ETA: And per my original plan, it is now heavily redacted. Though, it's not hard to read between the lines. |

Yes, she is free to make up her own mind. Like others here, she was just having a hard time keeping up with who we hate. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Is she over 18? I thought you were way to young to have a kid that old. Take that however you want. |

I see what you did there, and for anyone else that saw the thread, that train wreck was CAREFULLY crafted and HIGHLY under appreciated. Y'all suck. Are you Canadian? If not, you should not own a denim jacket.

Are you Canadian? If not, you should not own a denim jacket. View Quote Clearly you did not grow up in my neighborhood where there is a ritual rite of passage: first you get a denim jacket in grade school (supported by a grey zip up hoodie layer underneath -- this was state of the art layering in the 70's. Mine had an oil painting of Jeff Beck's "WIRED" painted on the back of it by my father.), then in Junior High School you get a current surplus 70's M-65 field jacket with liner (considered state of the art weather protection @ the time ), and then by the time you get to high school and start driving, you got a classic black leather motorcycle jacket (the one with all the zippers). It was the evolution of cool. They're all still in my closet, though probably only the M-65 still fits. |

At least she can’t kick you out or make you sleep on the sofa.
