it really needs a barrel extension so you can mount a bayonet on the pistol

ERMAHGERD I hypothesized about this as a 2019 shotshow troll build last week https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/3097/1FBA4F52-E7BC-46C4-9428-29B4813B1786-741086.jpg Shotgun giant Mossberg has continued to swell the ranks of their 590 Shockwave firearms by announcing two new models this week. The new players on the roster in the company's growing line of NFA-compliant "not a shotgun" pump-action firearms are the chainsaw-gripped Shock 'n' Saw and the heatshield-equipped SPX. Both guns are 12 gauge with a 3-inch chamber and have a 14.375-inch heavy-walled cylinder bore barrel with a breacher muzzle. Use of the Shockwave Raptor bird's head grip is standard across the line to create a gun that remains just a tad over 26-inches in overall length and thus safely above a classification as a short barreled shotgun. Each of the new models has a 6-shot capacity while the SPX also sports an aluminum side-saddle that carries an extra 7 polymer shell-holders. MSRP on both of the new models is $560. News of the additions comes two weeks after Mossberg showed off their new 590 Shockwave Nightstick, which has throwback walnut furniture, a feature slated to hit their 500 Persuader and 590A1s as a Retrograde series in 2019. I'll be honest, that heat shield barrel would look great on the "nightstick" shockwave. https://scontent-lax3-2.cdninstagram.com/vp/62685da4936c98fea69339ed9c0044dd/5C64D262/t51.2885-15/e35/s480x480/43913474_2027009200678043_7053623183903031296_n.jpg View Quote |

14.375” barrel? Jiuce aint worth the squeeze. Maybe w a 12” barrel it would be worth it, or 10” with an arm brace so its oal compliant.
