Fotodiox Pro adapter for my setup
Saw a few positive reviews of this device, which you can get for an assortment of the more popular brands/mounts.
I decided that I would give it a try. I paid $39 with Prime.
I have a Mamiya m645 medium format film camera and lenses.
my DSLR stuff are the Nikon D7100 (dx) and D600 (fx) (~610..the factory changed out the shutter in my 600 under warranty)
so you can use the 'faster' glass from the medium format lenses on the DSLR cameras.
Autofocus doesn't work, so manual only.
Claim is that you can get some better quality photo's (~). (sharper focus and whatnot)
I took a couple pictures, and just to see what I can do.
There is a learning curve, of course, but I gotta say it looks like there is some potential for landscape / portrait photography
I'm going to play around with it a bit going into this weekend, if anyone is interested, I can share some photos later.
.OR, if you have some experience with these things, speakup!
