Guy gets sucked in pipe |
|
He just fell into a pipe that cracked open. There might have been a little suction here and there but come on now.
I myself fell into three today alone ! |
|
I am ignorant of such things, what would cause him to get sucked in the pipe?
|
|

Imagine the vacuum in a pipe that could be miles long. Probably ripped him to shreds inside. Said he was 50 years old. Happened in Taiwan.

Quoted: I am ignorant of such things, what would cause him to get sucked in the pipe? View Quote I don't think it was suction. Looked to me it was some sort if culvert that had a lot of fast moving water in it. His legs went in and he was not strong enough to fight the drag exerted on him. I hate these "killed at work" videos. Sad. |

Normal house plumbing can have a decent vacuum, i do not doubt that something that large moving that much liquid would have a lot.
|
|
Damn I've watched it 10 times and only saw a cloud being sucked in. Never saw the man.

New "IN!" gif.
FFS; Watch it at .25 speed on YT. His legs still come around faster than you can see. |
|
Color me a horrible person, BUT I totally enjoy watching third world construction accidents.
One a few years ago with the hydrogen tank, damn but there was another on liveleak at the time a guy was working on an abandoned gas station tank. Smoking a cig, whoosh just meat and bones landed. |
|
Sure, they found him over there.
And there. And there. And there. And… Feel sorry for the poor bastard. The USA has been going full retard on safety BS, but on the other hand, that kind of workplace death happens way more often in other countries. |

His hammer going in jerked him off balance, and he tried to catch himself by stepping into the pipe, where the water grabbed him and dragged him down. |

I showed my son this and he said “delta p”.
That’s a new rabbit hole I can go down on YouTube. Sad but fascinating. |

I bet that he learned his lesson and he will be more careful next time.

Clearly, there was a fast moving conveyor belt inside that pipe, and that dude definitely took the fuck off..

Looks like a venturi effect. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venturi_effect
