OK, so I posted an article on the new Hi-Point 10mm carbine....and so I thought
I'd post something in 10mm which is a bit sexier.........but dreadfully more expensive

So here is a Firearms News magazine article on
the Omega 10 pistol in 10mm

http://www.firearmsnews.com/guns/handguns/review-atlantic-firearms-omega-10-pistol-10mm/

I did not write this, so no concise pros and cons
click the linkage

tell me this wouldn't be fun though with some Buffalo Bore loads.........

More answers to a question only the FBI asked?

What did they do for roller lock profiles?  IIRC HK had 2, one for standard powered ammo and one for the FBI 10mm "lite" handgun load?

Isn't Omega a 'Bailey' company of the Special Weapons, BobCat, Cohaire infamy?..

Omega is owned by his brother IIRC.

Atlantic stands behind them and they seem to get good reviews.

Roller-delayed blowback in 10mm is not something i want from a company that reverse engineered the action.

It really DOES require a proper engineering knowledge to blueprint and build.

I actually shot 10 rounds out of an HK MP5/10, I shot 3-round bursts, and the recoil was way more than the 9mm MP5s.

My friend has a Springfield Omega 10mm, it has dual extractors, but from what I understand it breaks extractors and they are no where to be found

If this was HK or MKE I'd be less hesitant. As it is, I'd prolly rather go with a kriss gen 2. You can get those in 10mm, right?

Your link gave me AIDS...some bs advertising window.

Regardless, I hope they sell a ton of them. 10mm NEEDS to become the "third" semi auto handgun cartridge and replace that turd called 40s&w...and a larger number of popular 10mm guns will help!

Larry Vickers was talking about the 10mm MP5s in a recent Youtube video. And the FBI who were the ones that got those guns, had the 10mm guns constantly breaking. The 10mm was too stout for the design, apparently.

And those were HK built guns.

Meh, I'll keep my 9mm.  Much cheaper to shoot.  Cool variant though

I can remember reading that the FBI had a lot of problems with those guns.

In the present day of kickass AR SBRs, the juice doesn't seem worth the squeeze.  I can understand the collector or hobbyist angle, but seems pointless to try and mainstream it.

I had a Cohaire MP5 10mm, traded it for 4 Yugo AK’s in 06’.
I should have kept it.
