I saw some people mention they 3d printed the BCA cam pins out of plastic and metal, anybody have any issues with those ever? Id rather print than cut them, as I don't have the right tools to cut it consistently and correctly. If metal actually gives any better reliability im open to getting them made for me, otherwise I was going to use some PPA-CF core for them as nylons are self lubricating and PPA is quite stiff so should be a good fit for this part I'd think. Also, anybody know of any larger communities building this stuff live now? r/3d2a is active but seems pretty small, and I've not found any lemmys or element chats that are actually active, did fosscad's death just kinda scatter people or something? This thread has been the most helpful build support I've been able to find, but i'm always looking for more build tips and troubleshooting experience that may be out there. Anyone still following this thread? I have my Nopeo-0 gun done and having a heck of time with the feeding of this beast. All it wants to do is jam the delinker and chew up PETG links. I have noticed that any little rough spots on the links will hang up. Anyone else? |

Im working on mine still, keep cracking the striker post bearing so trying to get that figured out currently. |

Having finally fired mine, I'd recommend to people to pass on this project and just buy a FRT if your state allows it. @curanthir My attempts at plastic cam pins kept breaking and jamming the gun. If you look at the cam pins that are being sold, they are cut very differently than Nopal's reference. A much easier cut to make. @centexflyer The first delinker I made constantly hung up. When I printed the second one, it worked smoothly, and the third also worked smoothly. I'd suggest just reprinting all the parts of it. |

Yea, the 1337 is not for the timid. Nor for the "I just want a low cost, instantly operational, no thought, simple print and go". It is an adventure and a head scratcher. But when it finally works, behold now-ise-got-a-gatling-gun. Attached File |

Also PETG is tough and those link tabs hold onto the cartridge. I have found that cartridges hold tight to the link can cause issues delinking. Among other issues. |
