The local Lowe's had one of each flavor greeting you last year. |
|
That’s been a display for a few years. It’s not new. It’s also a pretty terrible looking display at that.

Sorry you are so hurt by a decoration. Let’s take it down so you don’t have to be so offended or hurt. Please don’t boycott Lowe’s or start a national movement over Santa not being the skin color you think he is.

Are we sure that is not Zwarte Piet? He was Sinterklaas' companion.

Their display should be Santa giving away riding lawn mowers.

Shouldn't they have updated from the Obama version to the Uncle Joe Remus version by now?
eta: is that $298 price tag for the Santa? If so... not just a display, but capitalism. |

You obviously don't know that Santa Claus came from Saint Nicholas of Myra, a Greek-Turk. Dark skin and black hair, he certainty was not a Nordic Blond/blue.

And he used to live over in the projects with his old lady and they had a pretty good thing together because his old lady was really fine and she could cook and all that stuff like that, y'know. Like, she made da best brownies in town, man! Oh, I could remember 'em now, man. I could eat one of 'em, man, wow... |

There’s definitely a Halloween/Christmas joke in here, but the feelings police wouldn’t like it much.
