This is awesome. I'm hopefully about to jump back in after a ~4 year break. Need to build my shop furniture first, then built ins for master closet or the living room fireplace and built in renovation. Have the other bedroom closets, under stairs storage pull outs, and the "Do Epic Shit" homeschool maker space we are putting in our above garage bonus room. Doesn't even touch the outdoor projects like patio furniture, outdoor kitchen,
Told my wife we should start a YouTube channel because we might be able to write off some improvements as business expenses in addition to the stuff we want to make and sell. |

I have to say, I'm safe because my grandfather made me safe starting when I was 8 years old, catching the outfeed (he didn't have no stinkin outfeed tables) from his tablesaw (wish I had a photo of it--it was so small and simple), and working with him on other tools. When you're a little kid, and your grandpa reminds you constantly to stand to the side, stand to the side, stand to the side, stand to the side, not behind the workpiece, it gets ingrained. There are a lot of things I'm not safe about. But the tablesaw I respect in a way that is like a second nature. A good reason to bring your kids into your woodshop, I think. I still say to uxb, "step to the side" when he's feeding, or catching, the piece going into or coming out of the tablesaw, and he ALWAYS says, "I KNOW I WILL" but he doesn't, and he won't. City boy. Grandpa didn't teach him.  Ain't gonna actually pay attention to wife.
